The Nia White Belt Intensive Training is the somatic and mindful study of the 13 Nia White Belt Principles.
Each Day is divided into highly interactive sessions where you will learn, move and practice the Science, Craft and Art of the Nia Body of Work. This is accomplished using both cognitive and experiential learning models. This 7-day experience offers leading edge education in movement dynamics, body-mind physiology, kinesiology, choreography, physical/x-ray anatomy, and music appreciation. In addition you will participate with other students in Nia classes to witness the power of the Nia Technique in practice. The Nia Intensive experience empowers everyBody to take their practice and their life the next level.
The Nia White Belt with Winalee Zeeb ~~ Celebrating Sensation!
White Belt Training Overview
Created by Debbie Rosas and Carlos Rosas 25 years ago, The Nia Technique combines movements and concepts from Martial arts, Dance arts and Healing arts, blending music, vocal sounding and self-expression into dynamic, hour-long routines. While most often practiced in hour-long classes, the true depth of the work lies in a rich body of education that develops into a powerful life practice. With a philosophy rooted in "The Joy of Movement," Nia teaches people of all lifestyles to choose Pleasure as the path toward physical, mental and emotional health.
Revolutionizing the world of fitness and wellbeing, Nia is today taught to nearly 100,000 students by over 2,000 Certified Teachers in 37 countries. With a "More-Gain, No-Pain" philosophy, Nia bursts boundaries of age, gender and fitness levels, delivering a fun, effective and life changing practice for all walks of life.
The Nia Belt System
There are four levels of Nia Training: White Belt, Green Belt, Blue Belt, Brown Belt, and Black Belt. This system provides a developmental process that is fashioned after the martial arts. Everyone begins with White Belt.

Personal Growth or Professional Training?
The Personal Growth Path is for students with a desire to intimately study and embody Nia for self-actualization, personal growth and life transformation.
The Professional Growth Path is for current or aspiring fitness, health or wellness professionals looking to teach or integrate Nia into their existing practice.
Graduates of Nia education emerge as role models, representing what it means to consciously live in a body, to live passionately, guided by love and the sensation of Pleasure. Those on the Professional Path graduate prepared to work in the fitness, health and wellness world, teaching Classic Nia classes as well as working with special markets.
For people on the Personal Growth Path, completion of the White Belt results in receiving the Nia Personal Growth White Belt Certification of Completion.
For people on the Professional Path, completion of the White Belt gives them permission to teach and represent Nia as a White Belt Apprentice, making “teaching classes” an integral part of the distance learning, continued education process that is a requirement before taking Green Belt. Green Belt focuses on teaching you how to “teach” a Body-Mind-Emotion-Spirit class format—Nia! Successful completion of Green Belt, which is the second belt on the Professional Path, is required in order to achieve the level of,
